Hiking in Eureka, United States
The Patriots' Path covers roughly 35 miles of terrain. The multi-use trails links parks, open space, recreational facilities, historic sites and other points of interest along the way. The trail is a mix of surfaces, a small section is paved (near Speedwell Lake) but most is dirt, gravel, or crushed stone. Much of the trail follows the corridors of the Whippany and Black rivers and the South Branch of the Raritan, the latter two creating some of the most pristine trout production streams in New Jersey.
